Overview
A portal to help Roger's Homemade Ice Cream manage their shop website and in-store digital menu.
What was built
It's a Next.js and MUI frontend backed by FastAPI and PostgreSQL, on an eight-table schema (menus, flavors, per-size pricing, in-store screens, themes) built to support multiple physical menu displays down the line. The catalog is seeded with 62 real flavor descriptions across the Ice Cream and Italian Ice menus, and the pricing you see (4 serving sizes, Single Scoop through Pint) comes straight from the database instead of being hardcoded into the frontend.
Admin portal
Shipped a JWT-authenticated admin dashboard, bcrypt-hashed passwords, 24-hour sessions, so the owner can edit flavors, prices, and shop info without touching code. In-store screen management and customer feedback are already modeled in the schema but not wired up to the dashboard yet.
